KASO Data Safe

Certified data media safe protecting hard drives, tapes and digital backups from fire and theft.

Digital backup media — hard drives, LTO tapes, USB drives — are far more heat-sensitive than paper. Standard fire safes can reach internal temperatures that destroy data long before paper ignites. The KASO data safe is certified to LPS 1225 Class 1 (magnetic media protection) and EN 1047 Part 2, maintaining an internal temperature below 50°C and relative humidity below 85% for a full 60 minutes at 1,000°C external fire. The door features dual locking (electronic keypad + key), and the interior is lined with anti-static material. An essential piece of infrastructure for IT rooms, server suites and document management centres.
